MyWigo 2 City, Takes a Class Contact Media Inconspicuous on The Outside and Loaded Inside

The standard medium range of smartphones, that which moves between 100 and 200 euros in price, has a new representative, the MyWigo City 2. A little flashy phone out but has something to say in terms of equipment for the price, including fingerprint reader and certain metallic finish.

The Spanish company is launching a mobile, well equipped and with a solution of useful software which, however, does not interfere practically nothing on Android to avoid loss of fluency. They are its strong points along with a local support that, they promise, can resolve incidents even in 15 minutes remotely.

Hardware

MyWigo City 2 is a 152.5 x 77 x 8.3 mm phone with a Panel IPS of 5.5 inches and HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) and 267ppi. The Valencian company has chosen the SoC of MediaTek MTK6735 64bits, like so many other models of between 100 and 200 euros. Consists of a processor of Quad-core Cortex-A53 to 1, 30GHz and a GPU Mali-T720. But at least has gained weight it with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, something very rare to find in its range.

One of its strengths is its rear camera, with 13 megapixel Samsung sensor, LED Flash and ability to record video in HD while the front is 5 megapixels. Unfortunately we could not put to no test of the two in this brief touchdown and therefore do not know if it really complies with or if you are staying at the brand.

In terms of connectivity, supports networks 4 G in 800, 1800, 2100 and 2600 bands, WIFI 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS + aGPS and Bluetooth V4.0. Your external connection is microUSB 2.0 and, like the majority of devices of this type, accept dual-SIM or an expansion of storage using micro SD up to 64B.

This one endures all battery 3. 000mAh. One more than decent capacity to your specifications and that also do not shoot their weight more than 144 grams.

Design

The design of MyWigo City 2 does not aim to draw too much attention, does not specifically by eyes. Your body is formed plastic materials but with a series of auctions in metal as the band complete the outline, the side buttons or frames of the camera and the fingerprint reader. A feeling reinforced by the brand name, printed also in colour on the back cover.

The front is very simple, a very clean design, in which just highlight three points for speaker, camera and sensor on the top and the traditional capacitive buttons on the bottom. The most striking are the circular holes for the audio output which has the base, next to the port of loading, and a line marked on the back of the camera.

Android 5.1 but soon Marshmallow

Although MyWigo City 2 arrives with Android 5.1 Lollipop, Valencia told us that they expect to be able to offer the upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow during this spring. It is one very pure version of the operating system Thanks to the decision, very successful, bringing together all of the own software on a platform in the cloud rather than disperse it by memory by pre-installed applications.

Called MyWigo World, already shown it you in detail when it was presented. It has been developed on the platform of Indra GPaaS and is housed in the Google Cloud Platform servers, what United must guarantee stability and good performance.

To launch this application, occurring preferentially on the desktop, access to a number of useful features such as the support and remote assistance, anti-theft system, a list of recommended apps own and third parties including the outstanding interface for older Superview, access to sections of mark as a news blog or a forum for users.

MyWigo World will allow company to monitor the use and performance of the phone so technicians know what failure and be able to recommend a solution or even execute it remotely. From the platform put a ticket with your details and a short description of the problem and from there you contact. As the majority of bugs are solved restoring to factory settings will prevent many shipments, but this must have staff attending so it is not on a promise.

Experience

During the presentation of My Wigo City 2 session we were able to see first-hand the terminal, catch it and navigate through their screens, but not sufficient to judge more than a small assessment.

Its 2GB of RAM and his MTK6735 seem more than sufficient to ensure a seamless user experience. Nothing from lag and slowdowns to start basic browser, photo gallery or camera applications. And surprisingly, It loads very fast real time of MyWigo store apps, that are being added in a growing vertical list, always a test for appliances are not going well.

Little to say of ergonomics and weight since it was hooked to the insurance that you see in the photos. Nor we were able to test personally the fingerprint sensor, but if we saw a demonstration of its configuration to the CEO of the company and it worked correctly, with three or four past of the finger to complete the figure.

Increasingly there are more smartphones that offer this added but it is not so common to see it in the range average against those who compete. Within their family, the MyWigo City 2 is between those who offer a bit more than all (RAM, storage, battery, materials) and also promises a good support in Spain. Sale by 179,90 EUR in three colors.

It is an alternative to go taking into account their relationship by especificaciones-precio until we have a final assessment of performance.
