Day 1: Bogotá
Arrival in Bogotá and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Bogotá
In the morning you will get to know the Colombian capital on a city tour. You will visit the colonial old town “La Candelaria”, the Plaza de Bolívar, some beautiful churches and the world-famous gold museum (closed on Mondays). Afterwards cable car ride to the mountain Monserrate. Finally, drive to Zipaquirá with a visit to the salt cathedral, which is unique in the world
Day 3: Bogotá – Armenia
In the morning transfer to the airport and a short flight to the coffee zone. After being greeted at the airport, you will be taken to a beautiful coffee hacienda. In the afternoon, a detailed tour of the hacienda awaits you to learn about the coffee growing process. Here you will find out why the mild Colombian highland coffee is among the best in the world. Day 4: Armenia
Today the path leads you directly into the Cocora Valley. On a short hike to the edge of the cloud forest you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and marvel at the Colombian national tree, the wax palm, one of the tallest palm species in the world. Afterwards you drive to Salento and get to know the typical architecture of the villages in this region as well as many small handicraft workshops. F / M
Day 5: Armenia – Cartagena
Transfer to the airport and flight via Bogotá to Cartagena. Transfer to the hotel in the old town. Afternoon visit to the San Felipe Fortress and the San Pedro Claver Museum. You can also take a tour of the old town, which is surrounded by meter-thick city walls. F.
Day 6: Cartagena
Day at leisure.

Day 2: Bogotá
Today you take a day trip to Colombia’s highest waterfall La Chorrera de Choachi. On the road there, you cross the fascinating world of Páramos at an altitude of over 3,000 meters. This unique Andean landscape is home to the Frailejones, a species of plant that only grows in the Latin American highlands. The subsequent hike of 4-5 hours leads through the cloud forest to the waterfall, which has a total height of 598 meters. F.
Day 3: Bogotá
In the morning you will get to know the Colombian capital Bogotá on a city tour on foot. During the day about seven-hour overland trip through the fascinating Andean landscape to Medellín, known as the “City of Eternal Spring” (alternative domestic flight can be booked)
Day 7: Medellín
During a city tour you will see, among other things, the famous sculpture park, in which numerous sculptures by the famous artist Fernando Botero are exhibited. Afterwards drive to “Pueblito Paísa”, the replica of a typical village of the region. From here you can enjoy a great view over Medellín. The afternoon is at your leisure
Day 8: Medellín – Nuquí
Early in the morning transfer to the airport and flight to Nuquí. From here it takes about 45 minutes by motorboat along the evergreen coast to the Ensenada de Coquí, where the Ecolodge El Cantil is located directly on the sea. F / M / A
9-10 Day: Nuquí
These days are at your leisure. On site you can book jungle hikes to waterfalls, beach hikes on the Pacific and other various excursions. Humpback whales can be seen from mid-July to late September. F / M / A
Day 11: Nuquí – Medellín
Transfer back to Nuquí by motorboat and flight to Medellín. Transfer to the hotel in the El Poblado district (without RL). Rest of the day at free disposal. F.
Day 12: Medellín – Bogotá
Transfer to the airport (without RL) and flight to Bogotá. F.
