Suriname would not be the tropical paradise it is without a variety of great fruit juices, do not hesitate to try tropical fruits such as passion fruit. For pure juice, it is best to ask for fresh squeezed juice. The Javanese population has a pink (and sometimes green) colored drink called dawet, which consists of coconut milk.
Beer: Try local “Parbo beer”, which in 1 liter bottles is called “Djogo”. In 2008, Suriname finally got Parbo beer in a can. Guinness is a popular import beer, and for that reason Parbo also brews a very decent own stout variant: Parbo Stout. Of course there is imported beer. Rome: Borgoe and Black Cat.
